This outstanding Washington State wine, family estate grown and bottled, presents a blend of:
44% Cabernet Sauvignon
40% Merlot
10% Syrah
3% Cabernet Franc
3% Malbec
Little by little Washington State wines are winning me over. This inky, yet “Bordeaux like” wine is no exception. There are leather, blackberry and cherry notes. Its tannins are smooth and gentle. Alcohol is 13.5%. This wine is much more sophisticated than it’s price would indicate.
For those of you reading this who live in Pennsylvania, the state store has it as one of their chairman’s selection at the unheard of price of $14.99. You can drink it now, or store it in your cellar for years.
